Pulau Harapan,,,do you know where it is? Pulau Harapan is one of the Island in Kepulauan Seribu. You only need 3 hours to get there by boat from Muara Angke. What's good about Pulau Harapan? it is a perfect getaway for the weekend because it's near from Jakarta and it's surrounded by many islands for us to explore (Bira, Putri, Kelapa,etc).

The most exciting part of the trip of course when we go snorkeling, we hop from one island to another. This is the type of boat that carry us

From there, we discover the beauty under the sea,,,


Meet the dangerous creature under the sea, it's called "bulu babi". My friend got stung by it! The guide give the first aid which is to hit the place where we get stung to destroy the spine!



There was a storm at midnight, in the end we all stay up all night. It's quite scary because our homestay is near the beach. 2 days of excitement!!

Journey to heaven on earth,,,,

Karimun Jawa,,,islands near Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia! good gate away place to release your stress and awesome place to dive and snorkling!

It takes around 12 hours to get there from Jakarta, we go by train to Semarang then we switch to a speedboat ferry that drive us to Karimun Jawa mainland,,,


From there, we're off to our lodge. The place called "Pulau Tengah", we rented one whole island for us.Isn't it amazing? We can scream and sing as loud as we can!! The island is heaven and the locals are friendly however there are no electricity until 6pm. Well who needs electricity anyway when this is what you got!!



For the next two days, we're hopping island from Menjangan island, Sintok island, Gosong island, etc,,,,we drive around using this fisherman's boat



We discover the most beautiful things under the sea,,,colorful corals and fishes!





and found the perfect place to take a picture!


Our guide also manage to catch Barracuda fish for our lunch!


and our last night together, we spend it star gazing, chit chat-in, drinkin lots of booze, fantasizing, etc! For me it's our magic moment! the moment where we just look at the stars, lookin for shooting stars, laughing our ass off, no stress indeed!! it's perfect!

We go back the next day,,,feelin unsatisfied! Well, holiday it's over,,,it's time to work again! make lots of money to spend on holidays again!

bye bye karimun jawa!! we'll be missing you! hopefully i can come visit you some other time!
